The project is implemented in close collaboration of the Land Use Department, which falls under the Ministry of Agriculture, the Department of Forestry, which operates under the Ministry of Tourism and Environmental Affairs, and the Eswatini Environment Authority. It aims to support the community of Ngcayini under Nkomiyahlaba Inkhundla through the rehabilitation of 4.5 hectares of degraded grazing land by reshaping the donga and planting vetiver grass on the walls of the eroded area, and eucalyptus trees at the base of the donga. This is part of the afforestation and reforestation programme that was launched by the Government in 2020 with a target of planting 10 Million trees in 5 years. A total of 1 373 409 trees (915.61ha) have been planted throughout the country.
