Field work in Desa'a

WeForest is an international NGO specializing in Forest Landscape Restoration (FLR) in the tropics. WeForest envisages a world where communities and nations sustainably manage their forests and natural resources for the benefit of our climate, our environment and humanity.

Building upon corporate and scientific partnerships, WeForest works with communities to sustainably advance and implement innovative, high standard, scalable and lasting solutions to restore forest landscapes.

In partnership with international and local organisations, WeForest’s projects in Argentina, Brazil, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Malawi, Senegal, Tanzania and Zambia restore native forest land whilst tackling the drivers of deforestation and degradation and by providing new livelihood opportunities.
WeForest collaborates with universities, intergovernmental agencies and international actors to deliver capacity building, applied research and policy advocacy.
