AFR100 Restoration Academy 2026

Call for Applications: Restoration Academy 2026 Applications are now open for the Restoration Academy 2026, taking place from 18–20 August 2026 in Saly, Senegal. This year’s Academy is co-organised by the Ministry of Environment and Ecological Transition (METE) of Senegal, the AFR100 (African Forest Landscape Restoration Initiative), the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, and GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit). The programme features two days of interactive workshops, followed by a field visit, designed to foster practical learning, peer exchange, and networking among forest landscape restoration professionals from across Africa and beyond. Please note that the event will be conducted entirely in French, with no interpretation services available. We encourage you to share this opportunity widely within your networks and institutions.
