- Aim to restore forest cover to 1990 levels by 2020 is included in national plans
- National goals for climate change mitigation and resilience, food security, water security, and biodiversity as embedded in the REDD+ Strategy, Forest Investment Plan, and Climate Change Resilience Programme
Requested assistance from AFR100:
- Provide technical support to identify priority landscapes to implement restoration, and drive sector investments in those areas
- The World Bank is a major donor
