This report is a combined effort by the African Union Development Agency, New Partnership for Africa’s Development (AUDA-NEPAD), which is the Secretariat of AFR100, and partners including AFR100 Focal Points embedded within relevant government ministries, FAO, GIZ, WRI, IUCN, and the Global EverGreening Alliance. With financial support from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) and collaboration from these AFR100 partners, AUDA-NEPAD devised a monitoring framework to guide the development of an envisioned digital platform that will provide data driven metrics to regularly track and report forest landscape restoration (FLR) efforts.
